Beaches
Ierissos Area
The beach of Nea Roda village is sandy with crystal clear water and offering all the amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach bars, restaurants, changing rooms and toilets. Besides the beach at the urban area of the village, there are beautiful beaches around Nea Roda that are highly recommended for you to visit.
Gomati Area
Beach line along Trypiti Port-Ouranoupolis →
Along this beach line you will find many interesting spots for swimming. You may also use the sunbeds provided by the hotels with a day charge or put your own umbrellas. Nice thin sandy beaches with shallow, calm water and a view to Ammouliani island. Coordinates to a random beach along the beachline: 40° 20' 50.9''N, 23° 57' 44.1''E - 14min or 12Km away from Ierissos)
Reminder: When it is windy and wavy in Ierissos, the beaches facing the opposite side will be calm and nice (Develiki, Maori Beach bar, Xiropotamos, Trypiti-Ouranoupolis area).
Ammouliani Island
You are not allowed to check out from our villa without first having paid a visit to Ammouliani island! A small but uniquely beautiful island with crystal blue sea, lots of large and small bays with white sand and lively underwater life. Ideal for families with children but also anyone wishing to be a bit more adventurous and try diving or water sports. It is a must-visit destination to anyone staying in Athos area. You can visit Ammouliani by taking the ferry boat from Tripiti port (make sure to load your car in the ferry in order to be able to explore the island effectively). If you are feeling more adventurous, you may rent a boat with your family and friends. No driving license is required, it is pretty easy, fun and safe and you will have a one-of a lifetime experience. By boat, you will be able to explore more remote beaches and dive in clean, secluded water. Rental Boat businesses operate all along the beach line from Tripiti to Ouranoupolis. In high season, make sure to pre-order a boat from a day or two before.

Drenia Islands
The locals also call these small uninhabited islands 'Gaidouronisia', translated as: 'Donkey Islands'. This complex of islets is located at the East part of Ammouliani and offers isolated beaches of exceptional beauty and turquoise, crystal clean waters. The sea is so transparent that you can see all the way to the sea bottom, just by standing on the boat. There is only one organized beach in these islets, where you can find umbrellas and sun-beds but most of them are pure natural scenery. Although uninhabited, one can find many swimmers and boats in high summer season. You may go there by renting a private boat from one of the businesses operating along the beach line of Tripiti-Ouranoupolis or from Ammouliani (no driving license is required). Another way for reaching Drenia is by the local touristic boats (kaiki boats) that leave from the main harbor of Ouranoupolis and drop you to some of the best beaches. You can pick up any of them to return back as they regularly come and go until afternoon.

Olympiada Area
A short straight coastline with golden sand and crystal turquoise water that is shallow at sufficient distance from the coast, makes it ideal for families. It serves as a peaceful getaway and a place to relax and recharge. The village offers a number of charming restaurants and beach bars. Besides the beach of the village of Olympiada, there are several more beaches accessible by car in close distance. Also some isolated majestic coves, accessible only by trail, await to be discovered by you.

- Ierissos Beach → Wide and extended sandy beach only a few meters away from our villa. Safe clean water of a deep but steady slope. You will find bars and restaurants along the beach line, grass area for children and a nice pedestrian road for walk and leisure. (40° 24' 01.4''N, 23° 52' 53.1''E)
- Kakoudia Beach → Rock Formations protruding from the sea or resting along a sandy beach just 10 minutes away from the centre of Ierissos. It is mostly not an organized beach so make sure that you bring your own umbrellas. It offers a unique scenery and a great option for a bit of diving and exploring the underwater magic. (40° 25' 07.6''N, 23° 51' 35.3''E - 5min or 3.5Km away from Ierissos). There are also two beach bars operating along Kakoudia area. Marabou Beach Bar and Restaurant and Kakoudia Beach Bar .

- Komitsa Beach → 10 minutes away from Nea Roda, you will find Komitsa Beach and Camping area. Thin white sand and trees reaching to the water create a majestic natural scenery at the Northern Border of Holly Mountain. - Voulitsa Beach → A beautiful natural sandy bay in between Nea Roda and Komitsa Beach. You will find a beach bar operating there. Calm water, white thin sand and beach surrounded by rocks and trees. (40° 22' 53.6''N, 23° 56' 25.0''E - 13min or 7.5Km away from Ierissos)

- Alikes → One of the best awarded beaches in Greece, this one is located at the South part of the island, facing Sithonia and can be reached by car or boat. It is organized with umbrellas and sun loungers as there are 3 beach bars operating in the area and a water sports facility. The white extra thin sand, the green bay and the turquoise shallow waters, make this beach a unique summer experience. - Megali Ammos → Overlooking Ouranoupolis and Drenia islands, this beach is located at the East part of Ammouliani. It is usually a less crowded beach compared to Alikes and you can find a beach bar facility operating there with umbrellas, sun loungers, snacks and drinks. It can be also reached by car or boat. The crystal clean water, thin sand and naturally formed green bay with rocky sculpted formations in its edge, make it a treasured paradise for relaxation. - St. George → Accessible by car and very close to Megali Ammos, St (Aghios) George is a more remote, peaceful little bay with a few umbrellas and sun beds provided by a beach bar. Surrounded by green low vegetation and the sound of cicadas filling the air, blonde thin sand and calm waters, it is a great, relaxing spot. The low rock formations and the wooden pier offer a chance for playtime and fun water games. At lunch time, you may consider visiting the traditional atmospheric tavern behind St. George beach. - Karagatsia → Located at the Northern coast of Ammouliani, surrounded by two green hills, Karagatsia is named after the elm trees that grow in the nearby area. It is an idyllic beach with turquoise transparent waters, white thin sand and a seasonal canteen offering sunbeds, coffee, refreshments and snacks.
